About

It has been my privilege to get to know so many of you over the past 18 years through the local schools, in Scouts or as a volunteer on local commissions and committees.
Over the years I have learned not only how the community works, but I have also learned to listen for the heart of our unique community.  It is this diverse combination of civic experience and community representation that I will continue to use to serve you as a UP City Council member
As our beloved city matures, we are faced with the tough questions of how to realize our vision for growth while maintaining fiscal responsibility.  This requires a collaborative leadership approach with a more thorough public involvement process.
I am already known on the University Place Planning Commission as the one who asks the sticky questions, and you can be sure that I am going beyond staff reports to find answers that satisfy me.

I will bring that same tenacity to my role as your next city council member to make sure that each of my votes is a vote for you and for our community...

Let's make this a place that we are all proud to call home. But I can’t do it without you. Please send me a email with your questions or the level of support that you are willing to give to the campaign.
