Dear Neighbor,

I am proud to run for City Council position #5 because University Place needs a representative who knows how to get the greatest benefit with limited resources. As I go door- to-door, you have stated that you want the Town Center completed. My primary goal is to end the “up in the air” management of this project.  By applying my expertise and knowledge of how to get things done, I will bring together the necessary resources and investment partners to propel this undertaking into final construction.

I don’t see the City Council seat as a stepping stone for a higher office, but rather a position that requires LEADERSHIP, EXPERIENCE and foremost DEDICATION.  I have dedicated over 30 years of solid business experience and leadership in both professional and civic careers.  I will bring this proven history of successes to the City Council.  For over 18 years, I have demonstrated my dedication for this community by volunteering alongside you.  I have heard your concerns and ideas, and as your Commissioner I have brought your ideas to the Parks and Recreation Commission and Planning Commission.  

I have already worked very hard to make University Place a better place to live and work and would appreciate your vote to allow me the opportunity to impact greater change to our community and bring common sense and business sense back to our city government.

 I pledge to CHANGE the direction of our city to again make everyone proud to be a citizen of OUR University Place!
